Founders Supplying & Constructions “FSC” Company was founded in 2022, provides consultancy, design, manufacturing, installation and services for all types of Space Skelton Steel Construction Systems, as well as contracting, construction and infrastructure activities. FSC owns factory in Qantara Shark, Sinai – Egypt to design and manufacturing steel structure and space frame.

1-Identified Hazards

2-Safety Instructions

1- Operation and use of forklifts are only permitted by trained personnel who are certified by the responsible manager.
2- Before operating and driving forklifts, the following checks must be performed:
Check the coolant level in the equipment.
Check the engine oil level.
Inspect the equipment gauges and operating switches.
Check the warning devices on the equipment to ensure they are functional.
Inspect the equipment wheels to ensure they are in good condition.
Check the brakes to ensure they are functional (foot brake and hand brake).
Raise and lower the forks to ensure they are operating properly (to the full extent).
Ensure the rearview mirror is functional.
Verify the fire extinguisher is in working order.
Ensure the seatbelt is present and in good condition.

3-Outdoor Parking Safety Instructions

Employees must wear safety and health gear.
Operate equipment at a moderate speed.
At the beginning of each shift, ensure the following:
a. Check the engine oil level.
b. Ensure the coolant water in the radiator is sufficient, if applicable.
c. Verify there is enough fuel for the equipment's operation.
d. Check the condition of the tires.
e. Ensure the lights and signals are functioning.
f. Confirm that the brakes are operational.

4-Crane Safety Instructions

Ensure the end-of-travel limit switch is functioning.
Check the integrity of the lifting cables.
Confirm that the wheels do not touch the ground during loading.
Adhere to the crane loading schedules and implement them.
Do not allow workers to ride on the crane.
Do not load more than one pipe at a time.

5-Mobile Ladder Safety Instructions

Ensure the ladder's rungs and legs are free from oil and grease.
Confirm that the stabilizing feet are present and in good condition.
Choose the appropriate type of ladder for the required task.
Do not allow more than one person on the ladder at the same time.
Avoid carrying heavy loads while climbing.
Do not carry hazardous materials while climbing.

6-Maintenance Department Safety Instructions

1- Ensure the tools are in good condition and remove any damaged ones.
2- Use hand tools for their intended purposes only.
3- Ensure the safety of electrical cables.
4- For pneumatic tools, check the hoses and connecting parts for safety.
5- When performing repair and maintenance operations, ensure the following:
Disconnect the electrical supply.
Ensure the machine is completely stopped.
Secure a safe area for the repairs.

7-Electricity Hazards and Prevent

Electrical hazards can be divided into two categories:
Electric shock that affects humans when exposed to electricity.
Burns caused by electricity.
Welding Safety Instructions
Adhere to wearing safety gear.
Connect and disconnect welding machines to the power source properly.
Ensure that electrical cables are well insulated.
Confirm that the machine's grounding cable is connected.
Check the functionality of the machine's power switch.

8-Warehouse Safety Instructions

Adhere to the use of personal protective equipment and fire safety tools.
Organize warehouses according to the type of materials.
Store materials on shelves safely
Safety Instructions for Openings in Floors and Walls
Any opening in the floor with a diameter of 20 cm or more must be secured with a cover.
Any opening in the wall measuring 75 cm in length and 50 cm in width or more must be secured with barriers.
The height of guardrails should not be less than 1 meter.

9-Safety Instructions for Cutting or Welding with Oxygen

The pressure in gas cylinders can reach up to (168 kg/cm²).
Use designated carts for transporting cylinders.
Keep cylinders away from high-power electrical devices and direct sunlight.
Always store cylinders in an upright position.
Regularly check the cylinder valve for safety.
Ensure the regulator gauge is functioning to obtain the required pressure.
Be cautious with empty cylinders, as they can still be hazardous.
The maximum storage limit for cylinders is 7 cylinders of 18 kg capacity in one location.

10- Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

PPE selection should be based on the specific hazards of the job.
PPE is considered personal responsibility and must be worn during working hours inside the facility.
Using PPE for purposes other than intended outside the facility is prohibited.
Employees must maintain their PPE and are not allowed to make any modifications.
